While the doctor was treating Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno and Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends adapt the Kyoto arc of the manga. On April 12, 2019, it was announced that two new live-action films will adapt the Remembrance/Tenchu and Jinchu arcs.
